YouTube is testing a new reaction feature

YouTube is testing the Reaction feature so that users can express their opinions in more innovative ways while watching YouTube videos.

YouTube's new feature, like Facebook Live, will be displayed in a separate panel at the bottom of the video and users will be able to respond as they wish. The feature is currently being tested on a number of YouTube channels.

If a user sees a video under the feature, you can turn on the Crowd Reaction panel in the comments section. Besides, you will be able to give the reaction of your choice from the reaction option there. The feature also shows when other users are reacting.

The Google owned video sharing and streaming platform says it is working on a set of multiple reaction options. Reaction options will be changed based on user feedback. YouTube has recently unveiled another feature called video transcription. This feature is currently only available to desktop users. This will allow users to view the complete transcription of any video. The feature adds a separate transcript section below the video. By turning on the option, the user will see the transcript of the entire video including the timestamp.
